We I just returned from my last trip around the country for work and I must say I'm quite over it to say the least. I work as a SysAdmin for an international medical company and the last three weeks has seen me travelling to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Mossel Bay, East London and Port Elizabeth. I'm truly happy to be home now and keen do dedicate some time to ANKST. We should be spending some time in the studio tomorrow playing catch-up due to tons of lost time. Also looking to have a new Neo Crypt up on Nightbreed Radio in time for the Monday night slot.


Just spent the last hour backing up the Nightbreed Radio Manager laptop. One can never be too careful! This is just one of those things that I make sure I do regularly. Better safe than sorry.

Time to kick back and watch a movie or two!

Awaiting The New Toy.

OK, so mine will be a Behringer, which is actually identical. The "shock-mount" will come later when I can afford it. Also, The model in the pic is a C-3u (USB), whereas the one I will receive soon will be the C-3 which uses an XLR cable and runs of "phantom" power from the desk. We run two desks at the Spookhaus Studio (more about our studio at some other point), one is a four channel and the other a twelve channel.

I can't wait to test this puppy, both on SideShow, Neo Crypt and ANKST recordings.

Shows Updated Today on Nightbreed Radio

Just spent the day chatting with Pete (DJ Po) and Trevor (The Darlord) Bamford, as well as sorting and uploading new shows for Lee (DJ Cruel Britannia), Martin (DJ Martin Oldgoth) and Rick (DJ Wolfman). Created a new backup of the Nightbreed Radio Manager laptop (can never do this too often) Trev's sorted and uploaded quite a few of his own new shows as well today. I may consider releasing Neo Crypt EP4 as Tracey (DJ Spiderbaby) and I plan to record a new episode this coming weekend.

I really hope my new C3 mic arrives tomorrow. There's nothing quite like new toys :)

Pushing the limits of my already overstretched schedule, I've decided that in the interest of Nightbreed Radio and my band, that I'd start a blog page. Some of the entries here may be short, insane, funny or disturbing. What ever they may be, I can assure you, they're all mine!
